Enjoy smooth waters and blue skies as you float down the beautiful Colorado River between the cliffs of Black Canyon. The spectacular cliff-laden scenery makes this a wonderful sightseeing tour.

This is a unique day trip aboard a motor-assisted raft which allows the visitor to leisurely enjoy and share in the history, desert wildlife and beauty in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River.

You will then be transported onto a tour bus to the launch area at the base of the Hoover Dam. This is an extremely rare view of the Hoover Dam that very few people have the opportunity to see. At this time, you will board large comfortable rafts which have been carefully constructed with your party's safety in mind. They have multiple air chambers and are outfitted with all of the Coast Guard required and recommended safety equipment.

During this excursion, your experienced and knowledgeable guides will share with you the history of this magnificent geological area. The high canyon walls will leave you breathless. After lunch you will continue on to your third stop, Ubehebe Crater. The crater is all that remains from a volcanic eruption so violent the volcano itself was destroyed. The crater is nearly a half-mile across and about 800 feet deep.

Next stop is Badwater, the lowest spot in the Western Hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level with a permanent spring-fed pool where you actually can walk on the salt flats. Your final stop of the tour is at Rhyolite Ghost Town.

The Platters are a well known staple of Las Vegas. Known for the unique style of their numerous ballads, they are one of the smoothest acts in the music business today. The late Elsbeary Hobbs was the original bass singer for the Drifters.
